If this is not done correctly it is not possible to match ad spend with results in Google Analytics and track the performance of different advertising initiatives. Google Adwords traffic is already correctly connected with Google Analytics and Bing traffic is correctly tagged by Microsoft. To help further with this Funnel provides the ability to automatically tag your ads for other major advertising platforms, starting with Facebook. This way your ads will always be perfectly tagged, allowing you to track and compare campaign performance in Funnel.

For advertising platforms that we do not yet support you have the ability to create these platforms in Funnel and upload the data in a CSV file. This way you can get full coverage of all your advertising spend and the benefit of the services that Funnel provides such as structuring of you advertising data, integration with Google Analytics and currency conversion.
