We've recently added a new dimension to our Shopify connector. The dimension Customer Order Count represents the number of orders placed by a specific customer.
With this dimension it will be possible to create the custom metrics called “First Time Customer” and “Returning customer” which are metrics that has been requested by many of our users using the Shopify connector. Please see the Shopify - First Time and Returning Customer article to find out how you create these metrics.
Please note that you need to select “Include customer data” when connecting a Shopify data source. You can also edit the configuration of an existing source to import the Customer Order Count dimension.
