We’ve rolled out exciting updates across Connectors to enhance the user experience. New features like field previews, custom field mappings, and additional reports make it easier to connect data sources, access insights faster, and streamline workflows. These improvements are now available for Connectors including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Vendor Central, GA4 via BigQuery, Rakuten Affiliate Network, and more.
Facebook Ads
We have added Start and End Time dimensions for Campaigns, Ad Sets, and specific Ads. These fields are automatically included in data sources configured at the Campaign, Ad Set, or Ad level.
This update makes it easier to track the lifecycle of campaigns and ad elements, enhancing reporting capabilities.
Google Ads
Google Ads is now another key Connector that offers the ability to preview available fields and data when connecting a new Data Source in Funnel. Users can see a searchable list of fields, data previews, and how custom fields map to raw fields, streamlining the setup process. This feature helps users quickly identify the data they need without having to connect and explore it later. It also includes custom and template field mapping previews, providing clarity on transformations early in the process.
GA4 via BigQuery
We’ve added support for intraday tables, enabling the Connector to fetch data when events tables are unavailable. There’s also a new optional field, Event Parameters, allowing advanced use cases by fetching raw event parameter lists.
These updates help accommodate different export setups from GA4 and address customer-specific needs like conversion event tracking.
Apple Search Ads
We have implemented OAuth authentication for the Apple Search Ads Connector. All new connections now use this method.
This change addresses API instability issues caused by the previous authentication setup, ensuring a smoother and more reliable connection, as requested by Apple.
There are new 7- and 30-day Reach & Frequency time windows available for Pinterest. These are automatically included in Campaign and Ad Group reports, so no action is needed.
This addition fulfills a high-priority request from Havas, providing more flexibility for campaign performance analysis.
Amazon Vendor Central
We’ve introduced two new fields in the Sales Report: Glance Views and UPC.
Additionally, we’ve added several new fields and report types to the Amazon Vendor Central Connector:
- Inventory Report: Provides insights into current and historical inventory levels.
- Forecasting Report: Displays Amazon’s future inventory forecasts at different confidence levels.
- Traffic Report: Offers insights into Amazon product page views.
- Net Pure Profit Margin Report (Net PPM): A profitability metric specific to Amazon sellers.
These updates consolidate essential data where possible: the Net PPM and Traffic metrics are integrated into the existing Sales Report as optional fields, while the Inventory and Forecasting Reports are set up as individual data sources.
These improvements address long-standing customer requests and were accelerated by a commitment from Manhattan Beachwear, which requested these fields before signing. Full list of fields here.
Rakuten Affiliate Network
There are now four new dimensions (Link Size, Link Name, Link ID, Link Type) and one new metric (# of Net Items) available in the Rakuten Affiliate Network Connector.
Customers can add these fields directly in Rakuten to make them accessible in Funnel, expanding options for more detailed performance tracking.
Indeed
The Indeed Connector now uses a more efficient endpoint, includes a historical data selection feature, and introduces three new dimensions (Job, Job Reference Number, Platform) and one new metric (Conversions).
These updates improve the Connector’s performance and expand available insights for tracking job postings and conversions.
Shopify
We’ve added a new Inventory report for Shopify, offering daily snapshots of inventory levels starting from the connection date.
This report addresses common customer requests, allowing businesses to monitor stock levels and track trends from the day the data source is connected. Find full list of fields here.
Mixed Connectors
We’ve enabled the “Edit Configuration” feature for more Connectors, including Matomo, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others. Additionally, Google Trends now allows custom start dates, and DV360 includes a new YouTube (TrueView) report.
These updates make it easier to configure and customize Connectors while adding new critical reporting capabilities for platforms like Google Trends and DV360.
