Product updates - November 2024

November is here, and so are some powerful updates in Funnel! This month, we’re all about making your experience more streamlined and intuitive, whether you’re connecting new data sources, organizing insights, or ensuring secure access for your team. Rebecca from Funnel’s marketing team is here to walk you through what’s new and how each update can make a difference in your daily workflow:

New connector - Google BigQuery 

We’re excited to introduce the Google BigQuery connector! Available on our Business and Enterprise plans, this new feature lets you import data from BigQuery directly into Funnel. Blend your marketing data with other business-critical information in one place, creating a unified view for deeper insights and smarter decisions.

Field and data previews during connect flow

Connecting new Data Sources is now more intuitive. You’ll see a searchable list of dimensions and metrics along with a data preview, so you can be sure the fields match what you need. This feature is currently available for Facebook Pages, Instagram Insights and Google Analytics with more connectors to come.

Data Explorer: Filter on any dimension

In Data Explorer, you now have the ability to filter by any dimension, not just those in your query. This will keep your tables neat and tidy, removing unnecessary clutter and getting you to insights faster.

Google Sheets connector: Sync Sheet button

Next, we’ve added a “Sync” button to the Google Sheets connector. This lets you update data in Funnel whenever you need it, ensuring your reporting is always accurate and up to date.

Enhanced single sign-on support

We’ve expanded our single sign-on options. Users can now start the login process directly from our application and sign in with a range of supported identity providers, including: Active Directory/LDAP, Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure AD, OpenID Connect, Okta Workforce and PingFederate.
